Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Vasquez was last seen in San Ysidro, California on February 5, 1998, the day before his thirty-sixth birthday. He was with a friend and possibly another male in a van at the time. He called his girlfriend and said he'd be home shortly, but he never arrived and has never been heard from again.
A few days later, the van Vasquez had been traveling in was found in an apartment complex parking lot. Few details are available in his case. San Diego police are investigating.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known.
