Description, clothing, jewerly and more : A white short-sleeved shirt and light gray slacks.
Distinguishing characteristics, birthmarks, tattoos : Caucasian male. Gray hair, blue eyes. Lauzon wears wire-rimmed prescription eyeglasses. He has scars on the backs of both of his shoulder blades, a scar on his right finger, and a scar on his elbow. Both of his knees have been replaced. Lauzon's nickname is Ed.





Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Lauzon was last seen at his home on Lillian Street in Center Line, Michigan on July 25, 1992. He got into an argument with his wife over whether they should leave their front door open and left their residence.
He was driving his tan 1992 Ford Crown Victoria with the Michigan license plate number 348CFG at the time of his disappearance. He has never been heard from again and his vehicle has not been recovered.
Lauzon was retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1992; he used to be a tool grinder. He has family members living in Canada, but searches for him in that country have turned up no sign of him. He was declared legally dead in 1999.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2�5% of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends.
