Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Johnson was last seen in Tallulah, Louisiana on September 22, 1998. He has never been seen again. His 1985 Peterbilt truck was discovered abandoned and burned in St. Joseph, Louisiana on October 11, 1998, nearly three weeks after Johnson's initial disappearance. There was no sign of him at the scene. St. Joseph is about a 44-minute drive due south from Tallulah.
Johnson's case remains unsolved; few details are available.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons.
