Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Labelle disappeared with her boyfriend, Sherwin "Jay" Lamando, on November 19, 2017. They were moving from California to Washington State at the time. On November 30, the couple's white 2001 Ford Taurus was found at a rest area along westbound Interstate 90 near the Montana/Idaho border in Mineral County, Montana. In July 2021, the couple's remains were found by huckleberry pickers near that same rest area. Their deaths are under investigation.
