Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Wheaton was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. on June 17, 2006 at the Greyhound bus station in the vicinity of Jefferson Street and Cortland Avenue in Jackson, Mississippi. He boarded a bus headed to Sacramento, California, but it isn't known whether he actually arrived. Wheaton has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known.
